Quand j’ai vu cette vidéo, il a été le coup de foudre.
Loosely translated, “when I saw this video it was love at first sight.”
The film focuses on Gabrielle Chanel’s late 20s — her work as a seamstress and cabaret singer to her life as a kept mistress of wealthy playboy Etienne Balsan and her fling with a British industrialist Arthur “Boy” Capel, all the while developing her signature style that became de rigeur for the modern woman of the 20th century.

To say that my current home office is currently uninspiring would be a drastic understatement. How can I create inspired interiors for others when my own workspace is so…well…. lacking. It has all the great bones for becoming a great office but right now it’s kinda dark, which does nothing for this girl who lives for bright color and pattern.

I admit it, I’m totally addicted to scented candles. Diptyque stole my heart with its Baies and Mouget candles and now I am totally smitten with candles from Agraria.

I really wish I had been around in the 60s as my personal style is so highly influenced by that decade — the clothes, the interior design, even the hair and make-up! I came across some stills from “The Party” starring Peter Sellers today and immediately fell in love with the house it was filmed in

Because of the popularity of the open-plan, formal dining rooms are getting used less and less, so why not take your kitchen up a notch and have dinner parties there?
