It's official, Fall has finally arrived in Denver! This kind of weather makes me want to curl up on a couch or an overstuffed chair (a tete-a-tete, perhaps?) with a delicious throw, a book and a warm cup of tea. These throws would be the perfectly perfect addition to my ideal fall day:
The much-coveted Hermes wool and cashmere throw:

Or what about a 100% wool Missoni Hector throw in these cheer-inducing colors?:
This Jonathan Adler Nixon Throw in Orange is certainly an ingredient in Adler's recipe for Anti-Depressive Living:

Are you having an Elsie de Wolfe moment? Try this faux-leopard throw on for size:

And finally, you can never go wrong with the elegant style of Etro:

What book are you reading now? I'm reading House of Stone by Christina Lamb — an absolutely gut-wrenching story about Zimbabwe and Robert Mugabe's land reclamation schemes in the context of a white Rhodesian/Zimbabwean family and their black Zimbabwean nanny. As my fellow Bloggerina Life in a Venti Cup said, I have a large appetite for tears. Can't quite explain it. That and Africa has been under my skin since my visit waaaay back in 1996 — it is a truly amazing place with so much tragedy, as well as joy. I think when I'm done I might opt for lighter fare… I'm thinking Momzillas by Jill Kargman. Jill is a fellow New York City girl as well as a former classmate at The Taft School — Go Big Red!! Jill and another fellow Taftie, Carrie Karasyov have written several novels skewering the Upper East Side lifestyle that most people now associate with my guilty pleasure Gossip Girl (XOXO).
That's all for now! Back to dreaming about curling up on a couch instead of sitting in front of a computer monitor!
